Pace Markers
One to three footprints with a plain description, such as "Gentle walking, about 2 km, benches at every stop", so you can pick a comfortable level.
Pelorix Travel Club, based in Kanazawa, plans day excursions, cruise conversations and restful stays for travelers who prefer clear information, comfortable walking and a friendly voice on the phone.
We arrange travel; we are not a medical service. Health-related programs at a hot-spring or resort venue are run by that venue's own qualified staff, and nothing here is medical advice or a promise of any health result.
The same few questions come up whenever travelers who like a slower pace plan a trip: how far will we walk, where are the benches, and who do I call if plans change? Pelorix Travel Club was set up in Kanazawa to answer those before anything is booked.
Every journey comes with a written pace description, a host who stays with the group, and a plan printed in large type. You decide what suits you, and we take care of the details so the day can simply be enjoyed.
One to three footprints with a plain description, such as "Gentle walking, about 2 km, benches at every stop", so you can pick a comfortable level.
Day tours host eight to twelve guests, so nobody is rushed and the guide has time to walk beside you and answer questions.
Each service lists what is included, what to bring and who to call, written in plain language and printed in large type.
Call the club to talk things through before deciding anything. Some travelers would simply rather speak with a person, and we are glad to.
Rest stops come every 60 to 90 minutes on day tours, and walking routes are chosen for benches, handrails and step-free options.
Guides explain the places you visit in clear English, and a club host stays with the group from start to finish.
Call us or send a short message. Tell us where you would like to go, or simply that you would like ideas.
We describe the walking, the seating and the length of each day so you can pick what feels right.
You get a printed plan in large type with times, meeting points and a contact number for the whole trip.
A club host joins you on the day and helps with tickets, seats and anything else that comes up.
We would rather show you how we work than ask you to take our word for it.
Take a look at each one. There is no rush, and we are happy to help you decide.

Our guides keep a short note after each day out. It is how a route gets gentler over time, and this is what goes into it.
The real distance on foot, the steps and slopes met on the way, and any stretch where the group slowed down more than the plan allowed for.
The viewpoint, tea stop or garden bench where the group lingered. Those places get more time on the next departure, and the rushed ones get less.
A bench to add, a toilet stop to move, a lunch seating that took too long. Each note ends with one change we will make before the next group travels.
Send us a few words, or call and speak with someone directly. We will reply in the way you prefer, talk through the options and leave the decision entirely with you. Asking a question does not commit you to anything.
Write to the clubJust three things, and the message can be as short as you like.
